DH empowers lives by furnishing homes for families and individuals emerging from homelessness. Founded in 2017, DH serves families in the Fargo-Moorhead area. To date, DH has furnished over 180 homes, impacting over 500 lives, and providing further connections beyond the move-in day. Entering housing is an important step in the journey of emerging from homelessness, yet four walls is not enough to solve the problem. In the United States, half of those who enter housing return to shelters within the year. Down Home ends the cycle of homelessness by creating homes and a community where people find stability, comfort and connection.
