The Pulse of Civic Engagement: Encouraging Action in a Changing Political Landscape - November 2025
Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM) (CST)
Description

Communities thrive when their leaders step forward, and right now, our region is at a critical crossroads. With term limits, declining civic participation and the increasing need for informed leadership, business leaders and employees alike play a vital role in shaping the future.
The Pulse of Civic Engagement explores how the business community can actively participate in public service while supporting employees who want to do the same. We'll also discuss the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE), a new Chamber initiative designed to equip businesses and individuals with the tools, resources and insights needed to engage meaningfully in civic life.
Attendees will:
- Discover best practices for encouraging civic participation within your organization
- Hear firsthand stories from public officials balancing careers and public service
- Access resources to foster conversations about civic engagement in the workplace
- Contribute to strategies that strengthen community leadership and local policies
Whether you’re a business leader looking to support employee civic involvement, an employee curious about public service or a community member eager to shape the region’s future, this event provides actionable insights and networking opportunities to make a real impact.
Breakfast is included with registration.
